This Privacy Policy explains how GoPharma AI ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
GoPharma AI is the data controller for personal data you provide through this site. Contact: privacy@gopharma.ai.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email, password hash.
- Health information you provide for triage (symptoms, age, relevant history).
- Appointment, prescription and pharmacy preferences.
- Payment metadata processed by Stripe (we never store full card numbers).
- Technical data: IP address, device, browser, cookies and usage analytics.
3. How we use it
- To provide symptom guidance (Green/Amber/Red) and signposting.
- To help you find GPs, dentists and pharmacies and book appointments.
- To process payments and manage your account.
- To improve the service, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
4. Legal bases
We process personal data under: your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, and legal obligations. Health data is processed under Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR (health and social care) and explicit consent where required.
5. Sharing
We share data only with: providers you choose (GPs, dentists, pharmacies), payment processors (Stripe), hosting and analytics providers, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell your data.
6. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for up to 7 years after closure where required for medical or legal record-keeping.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, and object to processing. To exercise rights, email privacy@gopharma.ai. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted via role-based controls and audited.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies and limited analytics cookies. You can control cookies in your browser.
10. Changes
We will post material changes here and notify you where appropriate.
